Synod Assembly

The Sierra Pacific Synod Youth Committee (SPSYC) is a ministry of youth of the Sierra Pacific Synod. The Sierra Pacific Synod is one of 65 synods in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and has over 200 member congregations. 

Youth from these congregations all over Northern California and Northern Nevada work together to provide a structure through which the youth of the Sierra Pacific Synod are able to share in the oneness of Christ by proclaiming through word, deed, prayer, and fellowship in the gospel of Jesus Christ our Lord.

Currently the community is involved in organizing and leading youth retreats, partnering with ministries in the US and Rwanda, and representing a youth voice in church leadership. To find out more, check out "What is the SPSYC?"
